Major Revelation in Hidden Camera Case at Woman Officer’s Residence; Another Official Arrested

The case involving the installation of hidden cameras at the residence of a woman government officer has taken a dramatic turn, with police arresting another official allegedly involved in a conspiracy to blackmail and defame her.

Mal Maruti Police have identified the arrested accused as Vinod T. Preliminary investigations suggest that professional rivalry was the motive behind the conspiracy, with Vinod allegedly playing a key role in orchestrating efforts to tarnish the woman officer’s reputation.

Police are currently conducting a detailed forensic examination of Vinod’s mobile phone and other digital evidence. Investigators have revealed that Vinod allegedly conspired with three fake journalists to execute a planned blackmail operation targeting the officer.

According to police sources, the group had planned to share the money obtained through blackmail. It is alleged that as many as eight hidden cameras were installed inside the officer’s residence to secretly record her private moments.

Earlier, police had arrested three fake journalists in connection with the case. The arrest of Vinod, who is reportedly linked to the woman officer’s workplace, has further intensified the seriousness of the matter.

Sources indicate that the accused intended to use the extorted money for constructing a house. Vinod was produced before a court and has been remanded to judicial custody.

Meanwhile, the bail applications of the three previously arrested fake journalists have been rejected by the court. Police have stated that the investigation is ongoing and that further significant revelations are expected in the coming days.
