The conference brought together more than 150 management leaders and educationists from Muslim educational institutions across the city, underscoring the growing importance of collective leadership in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"1186\">Delivering the keynote address, MLC and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister of Karnataka, <strong data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"689\">Nasir Ahmed<\/strong>, said that private unaided schools, despite operating with limited resources, continue to deliver commendable academic outcomes. \u201cTheir performance reflects dedication, discipline and an unwavering commitment to education,\u201d he noted, adding that such institutions have carved out a significant space in Karnataka\u2019s educational landscape. Congratulating FEMI\u2019s office-bearers, he observed that <em data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1185\">collective unity among Muslim educational institutions translates into social and political strength<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1759\">Presiding over the conference, <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1241\">Syed Tanveer Ahmed<\/strong> stressed that institutional unity enhances visibility and influence. \u201cWhen Muslim educational institutions function as a strong collective, their voice is heard not only by political representatives but also by the government. Our teachers, students and graduates strengthen civic participation, giving us the leverage to raise issues effectively,\u201d he said. He urged institutions to rise above sectarian differences and focus on academic excellence, institutional growth, collective welfare and social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"2169\"><strong data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1811\">Recognising Excellence and Raising Key Demands<\/strong><br data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1814\" \/>In his special address, <strong data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1860\">Mohammed Asifuddin<\/strong>, General Secretary of FEMI Karnataka Chapter, said the primary objective of the conference was to recognise the contributions of Muslim educational institutions and motivate them through awards to pursue further growth and excellence. The memorandum sought relaxation in renewal of school recognition, simplification of minority status certification, enhancement of the pre-matric scholarship budget to over \u20b91,000 crore in 2026\u201327, allocation of government land and infrastructure grants for Muslim schools, doubling of post-matric and overseas education budgets, and direct online applications from madrasas for modernisation schemes without intermediaries. Echoing this, <strong data-start=\"3199\" data-end=\"3228\">Dr. Bilgami Mohammed Saad<\/strong>, President of Mansoorah Educational and Welfare Trust, said, \u201cA holistic institution integrates knowledge, Islamic values and character-building, ensuring the next generation is intellectually strong and ethically grounded.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3455\" data-end=\"3850\"><strong data-start=\"3455\" data-end=\"3483\">Dr. Mohammed Taha Mateen<\/strong>, Trustee of Taqwa Educational Trust, highlighted the need for robust collective platforms. \u201cEvery community has strong associations to protect and guide its institutions.
