High Turnout Marks Karnataka TET 2025 Examination<\/span><\/h2>\n

Bengaluru, December 7, 2025:\u00a0<\/b>Karnataka successfully conducted the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2025<\/b> across the state today, recording an impressive attendance rate. <\/span>The examination, overseen by District Commissioners in district centers, saw a significant number of candidates appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>The tests were managed by the <\/span>Centralized Admission Unit, Department of School Education, Bengaluru<\/span><\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over 93% Attendance for Both Papers<\/h3>\n

The morning session, <\/span>Paper 1<\/span><\/b> (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM), intended for teachers of classes 1 to 5, recorded a <\/span>93.35% attendance<\/span><\/b><\/span>. Out of 85,042 registered candidates, 79,394 appeared for the test. <\/span>This included 71,578 candidates who opted for the Kannada medium, 7,606 for other mediums, and 210 candidates with visual impairment<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The afternoon session, <\/span>Paper 2<\/span><\/b> (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM), for teachers of classes 6 to 8, saw an even higher turnout at <\/span>94.79%<\/span><\/b><\/span>. The total registration for Paper 2 was 250,189, with 237,164 candidates appearing for the exam. <\/span>The subject-wise breakdown for attendees includes 148,761 for Kannada Medium-Social Science, 12,524 for Other Medium-Social Science, 44,858 for Kannada Medium-Mathematics and Science, and 31,021 for Other Medium-Mathematics and Science<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Extensive Staffing and Technology Deployment Ensured Smooth Conduct<\/h3>\n

A large contingent of staff was deployed across all examination centers to ensure the smooth conduct of the TET 2025<\/span><\/span>. The staff included 1,233 Chiefs of Examination Centers<\/b> and 20,555 Room Supervisors and Relievers<\/b>. Furthermore, 2,444 Paramedical Staff<\/b> and 1,222 personnel for collecting mobile phones and other items were on duty. <\/span>Security was maintained by 1,826 <\/span>Police Personnel<\/span><\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Internal and external monitoring was also robust. <\/span>The roster included 1,222 <\/span>Local Vigilance Squads<\/span><\/b>, 4,622 personnel for general duties, and 569 <\/span>External Supervision Officers and Staff<\/span><\/b><\/span>. <\/span>Additionally, 352 <\/span>District-level Webcasting Staff<\/span><\/b>, 35 <\/span>Observers<\/span><\/b>, 35 <\/span>State Office District Supervisory Officers<\/span><\/b>, and 33 <\/span>State Office Webcasting and Supervisory Officers and Staff<\/span><\/b> were involved in overseeing the process<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

To ensure the integrity of the examination, crucial technological measures were implemented. <\/span>The task of managing <\/span>CCTV cameras<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>candidate biometrics<\/span><\/b>, and <\/span>frisking<\/span><\/b> at every center was handled through the agency Innovative India, Limited, New Delhi<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
