Bangalore Youth Find Purpose Through Performance: Solidarity Youth Movement Hosts Cultural Contest<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Bengaluru <\/b>\u2013 In an initiative aimed at countering superficial entertainment with meaningful artistic expression, the Solidarity Youth Movement’s Bangalore City Unit is set to host a grand cultural competition at the city’s historic Town Hall on November 15. The event is designed to foster moral awareness and social consciousness among young people through the medium of fine arts.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by State General Secretary Ismail Tirthalli during a press conference held at the BEFTA Auditorium, outlining a vision for positive youth engagement.<\/p>\n

A Movement for Positive Change<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Solidarity Youth Movement Karnataka is a socio-intellectual organization active across various districts, dedicated to instilling a positive mindset and a sense of purpose in the younger generation. Through youth campuses, workshops, seminars, and social activities, the movement strives to acquaint youth with life’s constructive values.<\/p>\n

“Guiding the youth towards a positive direction through their own peers is not just a pressing need of the time, but also the most commendable achievement of the Solidarity Youth Movement,” a spokesperson noted, highlighting the organization’s core philosophy.<\/p>\n

Redefining Entertainment for a New Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The press conference featured strong statements on the need for a paradigm shift in how youth engage with art and recreation. Haroon Safdar, Secretary of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Bangalore Metro, articulated the concerns driving the event.<\/p>\n

“The younger generation is falling prey to waywardness in the name of entertainment,” Safdar stated. “In today’s era, music and art are often confined to superficial pleasure. We want to introduce youth to a form of recreation that instills in them positive thinking, moral balance, and a sense of social responsibility.”<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the movement is more than just a competition; it is an intellectual mission seeking to guide youth towards a better path through engaging means. “The recitation of the Holy Quran with the art of Tajwid shakes the very strings of the heart,” Safdar added. “This is the kind of sonic and spiritual impact that draws a person towards goodness, justice, and humanity. Similarly, Urdu songs and devotional poetry that touch the heart create a spiritual sweetness in the youth.”<\/p>\n

Competition Details and Celebrated Judgement<\/strong><\/p>\n

The upcoming event will feature contests in Quranic Recitation (Qira’at), Hymn (Hamd), Naat, and Poetry. Attractive cash prizes have been announced to encourage participation:<\/p>\n

    Adding a layer of prestige to the proceedings, the event will feature Dr. Haider Safeey, a renowned musician from Jaipur, as the Guest of Honour and a key judge.<\/p>\n
