The initiative, led by religious and community leaders, sought to dispel misconceptions and highlight the significance of accurate representation in the survey for securing educational and social benefits.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"650\">Educating the Community<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"983\">The Karnataka Backward Classes Commission is conducting a comprehensive social and educational census with nearly 60 questions, primarily focusing on economic and educational conditions. The workshop was convened by <strong data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"930\">Moulana Asif Khan, Convener of Karnataka Muslim Mushawarat<\/strong>, who emphasized the urgency of creating awareness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1260\">\u201cWithin just 24 hours, we managed to bring together elders, youth, and mosque committees for this vital session. The census is not an NRC or CCC; it is a scientific exercise to understand people\u2019s needs. Accurate declaration of sub-castes, leaders said, was crucial to secure recognition and pave the way for educational opportunities for children.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2402\"><strong data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2236\">Mohammed Ahmed, President of Masjid e Islamabad, Basavanagudi<\/strong>, explained, \u201cIf we declare our sub-castes openly, it will help policymakers design better schemes.
