Bengaluru, September 10, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 In a significant boost to India\u2019s urban infrastructure development, Jindal Stainless has supplied over 1,031 metric tonnes of its premium-grade 301N austenitic stainless steel for the Bengaluru Metro Phase 2 project. The recently inaugurated \u2018Yellow Line\u2019 section, which was commissioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, now features coaches built with this high-performance material, underscoring a commitment to durability, safety, and sustainability in public transport.<\/p>\n

This supply is part of a larger order for 53 trainsets being manufactured by the CRRC\u2013Titagarh Consortium for the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
