The event, a key initiative under the state\u2019s progressive tourism policy, saw the active participation of investors, industry stakeholders, and government officials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing the conclave at the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University campus, declared tourism a critical pillar for strengthening the state and national economy. \u201cTourism and pilgrimage are gateways to prosperity for our nation, especially for Madhya Pradesh. Being the \u2018Heart of India\u2019, our state is giving special priority to tourism development to elevate its global identity,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>Immediate Investments and Job Creation Kickstarted<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Demonstrating immediate traction, the Chief Minister issued Letters of Allotment (LOAs) to six investors for seven land parcels, catalyzing an initial investment of over Rs. 60 crore. These projects, which include the development of hotels, resorts, and eco-tourism units across districts like Mandsaur, Dhar, Burhanpur, Shajapur, and Vidisha, are expected to generate substantial direct and indirect employment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>Heritage and Infrastructure Receive Major Push<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Underlining the focus on Gwalior\u2019s rich cultural legacy, foundation stones were laid for heritage development works valued at over Rs. 75 crore. Preserving and promoting it will make the state economically self-reliant,\u201d Dr. Yadav emphasized.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>Digital Promotion and Film Policy to Enhance Reach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">To amplify the state&#8217;s tourism appeal in the digital age, four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with leading firms\u2014Yap Digital, Crayons Advertising, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., and Concept Communications\u2014for large-scale influencer marketing and promotion of tourist sites and events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">The state\u2019s film-friendly ecosystem was also highlighted. Actor Piyush Mishra noted, \u201cMadhya Pradesh\u2019s film policy has made shooting easier with its friendly environment. The state\u2019s theatre traditions and supportive ecosystem will help cinema and young talent flourish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>Investors Express Strong Confidence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">The conclave served as a powerful platform for investor engagement. Industrialist Sachin Gupta presented a proposal of Rs. 1,000 crore, setting the tone for the event. Ravi Gosain, President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), confirmed that over 200 tour operators would participate in Familiarization (FAM) tours to explore Gwalior\u2019s offerings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>A Conclave for Regional Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">The broader regional impact of the event was a key focus for officials.
