Bengaluru Marks Independence Eve with \u2018Reclaim Constitution\u2019 Celebration<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Citizens unite for equality, harmony, and love for the Constitution<\/h3>\n

Bengaluru:<\/strong> The RBANM\u2019s Trust, in collaboration with the Reclaim Constitution<\/em> team, hosted a spirited Independence Eve celebration in Bengaluru, bringing together cultural performances, inspirational speeches, and a collective call to uphold the values of equality, unity, and patriotism.<\/p>\n

For the past three years, the RBANM\u2019s Trust has been organizing the program to spread the message of constitutional values and to inspire love for every citizen of India. This year\u2019s event carried forward that vision with renewed enthusiasm and participation from diverse groups.<\/p>\n

Leaders and Citizens Join Hands<\/h3>\n

The evening saw active participation from social voices, cultural groups, and political representatives. Among those present were Dr. Girish Mood, Vinay,<\/strong> and ex-Indian Air Force personnel Nawaz Aman<\/strong>, along with members of the Reclaim Constitution<\/em><\/strong> team.<\/p>\n

Former Member of Parliament Rajeev Gowda<\/strong> also attended, while Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad<\/strong> hoisted the tricolor at midnight, marking the spirit of freedom.<\/p>\n

Cultural Performances Highlight Social Issues<\/h3>\n

A rich cultural lineup gave the event its heart and soul. The famous Kerala-based band Oorali<\/em> captivated the audience with powerful performances that highlighted social concerns through music and storytelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cOurs is a music of resistance and awareness. We must respect our Constitution and nurture harmony,\u201d said Saji from Oorali<\/em>, noting that their inspiration comes from the legendary Bengali band Bhumi<\/em> and its tradition of Jeevanmukhi<\/em> (life-oriented) songs.<\/p>\n

Adding a regional flavor, Mrs. Shilpa from Gulbarga presented folk songs of North Karnataka. Her performances vividly portrayed the struggles of village women and their daily hardships, resonating deeply with the audience.<\/p>\n

Remembering Freedom Fighters<\/h3>\n

The program hosts also narrated stories of India\u2019s freedom movement, including Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s first visit to Bengaluru. These narratives served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the enduring responsibility to uphold the values they fought for.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Constitution is the living spirit of our freedom struggle. Every generation must protect it,\u201d<\/em> one of the narrators reminded the audience, drawing applause.<\/p>\n

A Night of Patriotism and Togetherness<\/h3>\n

Alongside cultural performances, food stalls added festive cheer, turning the evening into a community celebration of unity and patriotism. Team Abhaya members Debmalya and Payel also joined in the celebrations, underscoring the spirit of inclusivity.<\/p>\n

The event concluded with renewed resolve among participants to not only honor the country\u2019s independence but also safeguard the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution.<\/p>\n
