\u2018Boojho, Jaano Phir Dekho \u2013 Apna Pradesh\u2019 encourages young minds to explore their heritage<\/em><\/h3>\n

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh<\/strong> \u2013 In an inspiring display of enthusiasm and intellect, over 24,000 students from 8,163 schools across Madhya Pradesh participated in the first phase of the annual tourism quiz competition, \u2018Boojho, Jaano Phir Dekho \u2013 Apna Pradesh\u2019<\/em>. Organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, this unique initiative aims to deepen students\u2019 knowledge and connection with their state\u2019s rich cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n

Now in its seventh edition, the quiz witnessed vibrant participation from students of Classes 9 to 12. Conducted at the district level on Friday, the competition featured a preliminary written round to shortlist the top six teams from each district, who then battled it out in an engaging multimedia quiz. The winning teams will now prepare to represent their districts at the much-anticipated state-level finale.<\/p>\n

A Platform to Discover the Soul of Madhya Pradesh<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Speaking about the significance of the initiative, Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of the Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department, and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cInspiring the younger generation to appreciate, preserve, and promote Madhya Pradesh\u2019s rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage remains a core priority. Initiatives like \u2018Boojho, Jaano Phir Dekho \u2013 Apna Pradesh\u2019 not only serve as a knowledge-building platform but also foster a deeper sense of pride and connection with one\u2019s own state.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mr. Shukla further noted that the upcoming state-level quiz would encompass questions on tourism, art, history, and culture\u2014ensuring a well-rounded understanding of Madhya Pradesh\u2019s vibrant legacy. Efforts are also underway to enhance the quiz\u2019s content and reach in the future editions.<\/p>\n

The programme is being implemented in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, district administrations, the District Archaeology, Tourism & Culture Councils, and the School Education Department.<\/p>\n
