The bridges, recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, signify a major leap toward realizing the vision of\u00a0Viksit Bharat<\/em>\u00a0by 2047. Chenab Bridge: A Feat of Steel and Precision<\/strong><\/h3>\n

AM\/NS India supplied\u00a025,000 metric tonnes<\/strong>\u00a0of high-strength structural steel, meeting\u00a070%<\/strong>\u00a0of the Chenab Bridge\u2019s total steel requirement. The steel, tailored for extreme altitudes and seismic conditions, included specialized grades for the arch, pillars, and other critical components\u2014marking the first time such an extensive application was achieved in India.<\/p>\n

Manufactured at AM\/NS India\u2019s Hazira facility, the steel underwent rigorous quality checks by third-party agencies to ensure durability, rust resistance, and structural integrity. \u201cThis project demanded precision at every stage, from production to delivery,\u201d said a company spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Anji Khad Bridge: 100% Steel Sourced Domestically<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For the Anji Khad Bridge, AM\/NS India supplied\u00a07,000 metric tonnes<\/strong>\u00a0of customized fabricated steel, fulfilling the entire requirement. The steel was designed to withstand unique environmental stresses, with fabrication largely completed in-house. Advanced quality control measures ensured longevity and resilience, reinforcing India\u2019s capability to execute complex infrastructure projects with indigenous expertise.<\/p>\n
