Bengaluru, 23 April<\/strong>: BJP leaders in Karnataka have vehemently condemned the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which left 28 people dead, calling it a “cowardly act aimed at dividing the nation.” At a press conference held at the party\u2019s state headquarters, prominent leaders demanded unity and heightened vigilance in the face of escalating threats.<\/p>\n

Former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan led the condemnation, labeling the assault a deliberate attempt to sow fear and disrupt communal harmony.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis barbaric attack is an affront to humanity. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims,\u201d Dr. Narayan stated. He accused Pakistan of fueling cross-border terrorism, citing its internal instability as a driving force behind such acts.<\/p>\n

\u201cPakistan, grappling with economic collapse and social unrest, continues to export terrorism rather than address its own crises,\u201d he said. \u201cBut India, under PM Modi\u2019s strong leadership, will not be intimidated. We have already neutralized multiple terror hubs, and this fight will continue until terrorism is eradicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Narayan urged citizens to rise above political and religious differences, emphasizing solidarity as the nation\u2019s greatest strength. \u201cAt this critical juncture, we must stand united\u2014Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian\u2014as one India.\u201d<\/p>\n

In tribute to the victims, the BJP has planned candlelight vigils statewide, with key gatherings at Malleswaram\u2019s BJP office and Sankey Tank in Bengaluru. Opposition Leader R. Ashoka joined the outcry, demanding swift justice and tighter security measures.<\/p>\n

Senior party figures, including BJP Mahila Morcha President K.C. Manjula and spokesperson Dr. Narendra Rangappa, reinforced the message of resilience, warning against forces seeking to destabilize the country.<\/p>\n
